Our Mission

We send monthly financial support to needy families, orphans, and widows selected by the clergy of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Egypt. We send emergency funds in times of crisis. We encourage the funding of small projects which will provide employment to those who are willing to work, that they become independent and self-sufficient

We also provide clothes and medicine, shelter for the homeless, services for new immigrants, support for the gifted.

We would gladly offer similar services for members of other communities upon request and the availability of funds.

The Coptic Aid Foundation while acknowledging the deplorable situation of the Christians in Egypt, does not have any political activity. Its main goal is to help these hard hit poor families survive while keeping their faith. The problem is too big for one foundation, yet the Coptic Aid Foundation is doing its share in the best manner possible. We send a very small financial aid to few hundred families spread all over Egypt. We also initiate the execution of small projects that may help certain families become self-sufficient.

The Coptic Aid Foundation send regular monthly aid to more than 850 needy families accross Egypt. Total aid in 1995 was over 253.000 Egyptian Pounds. In the year 1996 we have put about 25 families to work in small projects. Fifty more of these projects will be in place during the next three months. Most of these projects cost as little as $200.00 or 500 Egyptian Pounds.

Listen carefully to Jesus' Words if you really care about eternal life with Him:

Mathew 25:31 to 46

  • When the Son of man come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations; and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand. Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was hungry and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked and ye clothed me: I was sick and ye visited me: I was in prison and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him saying: Lord when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them. Verily I say unto you. Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done unto me.

  • Then shall he say unto them on the left hand. Depart from me, ye cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

  • For I was hungry, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick and in prison, and ye visited me not.

  • Then shall they also answer him, saying. Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you. Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: But the righteous into life eternal"

Our mission is to help as many needy families as possible and at the same time help you reap the gracious blessings here on earth and eternal life in heaven "after many years".

We also appeal to our good leader, President Hosni Mobarak, and the hard working people in his government to extend equal treatment and to offer equal rights to all Egyptians, without discrimination on the basis of religion or faith. God bless the people of Egypt.
